After a long interval, Chechen attackers have once again attacked law-enforcement officers. The "Moskovsky Komsomolets" writes that the local police officers say the attackers came from southern Daghstan to show and affirm their unity and force.

Analyzing the January 8 battle between the attackers and the police officers, during which both sides had victims, the Chechen administration has declared that the attack was implemented by an underground bandit group and that it had revealed the bodies of 5 bandits. We remind that yesterday the administration had declared that there was only one attacker dead.

The Chechen administration also informed that well-known leaders Shatral, Mahram and Khanif could have been in the bandit group from Daghstan. The first is suspected of leading the attack on the native village of Chechen leader, Kadrov. We remind that the attack on the Tsentaroy village was organized by 12 suicide bombers in August 2010 and left several pole officers dead.
