President passes away in Paris
President of Guinea-Bisau, Malam Bakey Sanya passed away in Paris. The 65-year old President had been undergoing treatment at the Val-de-Gras Military Hospital in Paris since November 2011, and according to data that hasn't been confirmed, Sanya suffered from diabetes.
The President of Guinea-Bisau was known for his inclinations to receive treatment in the West, reports the RBK.
According to the Constitution of Guinea-Bisau, in the case of the death of the President, the Chairman of the National Assembly assumes office.
