Morgan Freeman: movie “icon”?
Morgan Freeman is nominated in the Movie Icon category of the People's Choice Awards.
The Oscar-winning actor modestly mentioned: "Knowing that I had been nominated in the movie "icon" category, I decided to find out what that means. I found out that that could mean computer effects."
This year, Morgan Freeman will receive many awards. The Foreign Media Association has announced that the actor has received the Cecilia de Milia Award, which will be presented at the Golden Globe Awards on January 15.
Morgan Freeman has starred in many films and has brilliantly played the roles of a prisoner, a president, a spy, God, as well as several supporting roles.
Among other contenders are Harrison Ford, George Clooney, Robert de Niro and Tom Hanks.
