Culprit kills prosecutor

A culprit killed the state prosecutor during a trial held at a court in Bavaria.

German police have revealed the motives behind the murder. Rudolf U., who is charged with murdering the prosecutor, is a 54-year old businessman charged with avoiding social security payments, reports the German Die Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

Police say his fiancé had handed him the weapon when he was going to court.

During the trials, Rudolf U. shot Judge Lucas Noybeka twice, fortunately missed and then shot the prosecutor three times. The 31-year old state prosecutor died from wounds in the hand and the stomach.

The culprit hid in the restroom where he was caught by two eyewitnesses.

Whereas before that he could have been sentenced to 5 years in prison or a 44,000 Euro fine, now he will be forced to stay in a cell for many years.
