YSU Rector saw experiments in laboratory
Presenting the achievements of Yerevan State University during the year in review, Rector of Yerevan State University Aram Simonyan today said the university had been obtaining equipment costing 160 million drams with support from the Luys Foundation every year since 2010.
"There are special and expensive equipments, including equipments that are the only ones in our region," the rector said.
The rector confessed that he was pleasantly surprised when he met students conducting experiments at one of the laboratories.
"To be honest, I wasn't even expecting it. I sat for nearly half an hour and watched them conducting experiments with bacteria, and I was very pleased," YSU Rector Aram Simonyan said.
He didn't forget to underline that chairman of the university's board Serzh Sargsyan had always showed his participation in the implementation of this and many other programs.
