Bible becomes bestseller
The Bible has been translated in modern Norwegian language and has become a bestseller, reports RIA Novosti.
According to the Bible Company of Norway, the new translation of the Bible has been sold in 79,000 copies since October 19.
More than 30 translators, theologians, scientists and literary critics translated the world's number one book in the course of 12 years. Experts assure that the translators were most precise and stayed true to the old Jewish and Greek originals.
The Bible Company, which is based in more than 146 countries around the world, says the new translation has made the book more comprehensible, especially for Norwegian youth.
