Black Sea freezes
Climate incongruities continue with the freeze of the Black Sea .
Ice layers are floating on the waters of the sea at the seaside regions in Odessa and only the waves prevent the ice from covering the sea in its entirety. One can see mountains of ice at a 100 meter distance.
In addition to the unusual cold, there is heavy snowfall in the health zone on the coast of Crimea , which is rare for that region. Roads are closed, and flight schedules have changed.
The Russian HTB (NTV) reports that nearly 10,000 people living on the coast of Crimea have been deprived of electricity.
