During today's trial on the case of the youth ANC activists, Judge Gagik Poghosyan declared to instigate a disciplinary proceeding against Tigran Arakelyan's attorney, Vahe Grigoryan. This comes after the attorney boycotted the previous trial.

The attorney pleaded two days to consult with his client and to present a challenge petition to the judge.

"A1+"'s correspondent reports that Judge Poghosyan only gave the attorney and his client 15 minutes to consult.

Judge Poghosyan didn't let Tigran Arakelyan participate in the trial, even though he was brought to the court from the penitentiary on time.

During the previous trial, Judge Poghosyan had punished Tigran Arakelyan for his allegoric statement "The judge is making a big deal", viewing it as disrespectful to the court.

We remind that a criminal case was instigated against the 7 ANC youth activists, including Tigran Arakelyan who is currently in prison, for clashing with police officers near Swan Lake in Yerevan on August 9, 2011.

The trial is in progress.
