Forum to kick off in August
The 5th Pan-Armenian Educational Forum will take place in Armenia on August 10-14, 2012. The RA Ministry of Education and Science has already started preparations. The forums have been held once every two years since 2004 with the purpose of discussing and specifying the key issues facing Armenian schools abroad, as well as the programs for the strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora relations and enhancing cooperation in the educational realm.
The forums are held through open invitations and the activities are organized through open debates during plenary and panel sessions.
The participants of the 5th Pan-Armenian Educational Forum will discuss the activities for the implementation of the provisions stated in the resolution adopted during the 4th Pan-Armenian Educational Forum in 2010, the key issues related to curricula and methodologies, cadre preparation and training, exchange of experience, as well as the events to be held ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
