Snow removal continues
Several roads in Armenia remain closed after yesterday's blizzard and heavy snowfall across the country, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports. The roads connecting Lusashogh-Lanjar [Ararat marz], Verin Getashen-Madina [Gegharkunik marz], Amasia-Tsoghamarg [Shirak marz], Akhpradzor, Shatvan, Shatjrek, Sotk, and Selim mountain pass are impassable.
The roads to the villages of Derek, Vardenut, Aray [Aragatsotni marz], Azat [Gegharkunik marz], Gyumri-Vanadzor and Gyumri-Bavria [Shirak marz] are difficult to pass.
