Some roads closed in Armenia
Most roads, highways and mountain passes in Armenia are open for traffic as of 10.30 a.m. February 20. Some sections are covered with glaze ice. Certain inter-community roads in Aragatsotni and Ashtarak are difficult to pass, while those in Aragats and Aparan are closed because of a heavy snowfall. Also closed are Selim Mountain Pass, Berd-Chambarak, Verin Getashen-Madina, Gyumri-Ashotsk, Gyumri-Amasia roadways.
Snow removing activities are continuing. The Ministry of Emergency Situations warns driver against driving on the aforesaid roads.
