Tumanyan’s home sold
Hovhannes Tumanyan's home in Tbilisi has been sold.
The home of the renowned Armenian writer, thinker was purchased by Mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan through his brother, President of the Union of Writers of Armenia Levon Ananyan.
"The deal is sealed and I just received the keys to the home today," Levon Ananyan told "A1+" during a telephone conversation from Tbilisi.
The Ghukasyan brothers purchased Hovhannes Tumanyan's home for 145,000 dollars.
The President of the Union of Writers of Armenia said the home "would serve as a cultural home for all of us."
