Okoyev complained about demonstrators?
Police officers today approached the activists holding a protest at Mashtots Park and warned them that chief doctor at Margaryan Maternal Ward Georgi Okoyev had complained that the demonstrators' presence was not letting the patients of the maternal ward rest.
The police officers took signatures for being aware of the protest from several activists.
The environmentalists demanded a written notice regarding the protest from the police officers and the latter said they would only speak with the activists' lawyer.
Environmentalist Yeghia Nersisyan told "A1+" that at his request, MP Anahit Bakhshyan had tried to speak with Okoyev, but the hospital employee had informed that the chief doctor was out of the country, and the hospital representatives were unaware of the appeal submitted to the police.
"Interestingly, on the night of February 21, they were placing roofs on the stands with a lot of noise. Didn't that noise wake Okoyev up?" said the environmentalists, surprised.
