Body found in Lake Sevan
The search continued until March 2. At 13:55 hours, the police of Gegharkunik province, as well as officials of the Vardenis police division and the Ministry of Emergency Situations found the body of A. Manukyan at the sector near Kartchaghbyur village. There were no traces of violence on the body.
On February 18 at 19:30, 37-year old Ashot Manukyan told the police in Vardenis that his father, resident of Kartchaghbyur village, 55-year old Aramayis Manukyan had gone to fish at Lake Sevan at 10:00 a.m. the previous morning and hadn't returned. It was assumed that he had drowned.
A forensic medicine examination has been scheduled.
