Mozrov Cave has collapsed
Activists of the "We Won't Keep Silent" youth initiativen in Vayots Dzor yesterday announced the collapse of one of Armenia's most marvelous natural monuments, the well-known Mozrov Cave, which is included in the Armenian government's List of Monuments of History and Culture, reports the "We Won't Keep Silent" initiative.
"Cave experts had sounded the alarm about the lack of the government's attention to the conservation of Mozrov Cave, but those voices remained unheard. It would be nice if the Armenian authorities recalled that they are entrusted with conserving the homeland's natural monuments.
The collapse of Mozrov Cave goes to show once again that just like the Catholicos has nothing to do with, as he says, "the monasteries located in those mountains", the government also has nothing to do with the conservation of Armenia's nature," as stated in the youth initiative's statement.
