Director promised, workers believed
The women employees of WKS Armenia (formerly Garun Sewing Factory) continued working today.
We remind that on March 14, nearly 300 employees of the factory declared a workers' strike with the demand for wage increase. They declared that they wouldn't start working until German-Armenian director Christian Geligi didn't raise their salaries.
Employee of WKS Armenia Lusik Safaryan told "A1+" that they work according to schedule.
"We started working the next day after the workers' strike because the director had promised to raise our salaries by 3 percent. We believe him and will continue working. We are all working, but if he doesn't fulfill his promise, we will declare another workers' strike," said Lusik Safaryan.
