There are currently fake drugs at pharmacies, including Aktovegin and Konkor, which are for those suffering from cardiovascular diseases. This is what President of the Union of Drug Producers and Importers Samvel Zakaryan informed during a press conference today.

Nicomed drug-importing company had informed about this as well. Zakaryan didn't mention the names of the pharmacies selling these fake drugs and simply said they are "in all parts of the country".

"If you suspect the price of a particular drug, then that is the first sign of it being phony," said Zakaryan.

Konkor and Aktovegin are considered expensive drugs that those suffering from cardiovascular diseases need. A dose of Akotvegin costs a minimum of 54,000 drams.

The Union of Drug Producers and Importers today addressed the society to put an end to these drug sales.
