Painter and commander become demolishers
The group initiating demolition of structures at Mashtots Park has sent another letter to RA Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan.
"We inform you that on April 5, the following citizens have joined the group of people with the intention to demolish the stands placed at Mashtots Park on March 31 at 13:00:
1. Gurgen Antonyan-actor
2. Vardan Balayan-musician
3. Suren Grigoryan-writer, lawyer
4. Argishti Kivryan-Coordinator of AtmToday News Agency
5. Nvard Manasyan-education expert
6. Artak Movsisyan-historian
7. Zaruhi Muradyan-member of the Artists' Union of Armenia, painter
8. Hakob Tchagharyan-veteran, plane commander
9. Vardan Haykazyan-expert on agriculture and ecology
10. Gagik Faradyan-Head of "Ayrudzi" Club
Demolition is scheduled to take place in an organized manner without any violation of social order, through professional methods and instruments and without causing harm to the owners'properties. Taking into account that the RA Police is currently maintaining the pavilions at Mashtots Park,
WE DEMAND
1. The assurance of the RA citizens' free entrance to demolish them,
2. The maintenance of social order during demolition and the security of those demolishing the stands.
