"Egg prices won't be going up this Easter and there won't be a nightmare at markets as in previous years," Head of Consumers' Union NGO Armen Poghosyan told "A1+".

"I don't think consumers will be in panic and confusion at markets like last Easter and before the New Year. We have received assurances from producers that they don't have any problem with prices and quantity. They said the eggs would be sold for 40-45 drams each. I think there will be some inflation, but not a lot," said Armen Poghosyan.

Consumers can purchase eggs for 45-55 drams each at markets today.
