“Ashotyan’s decree still doesn’t mean anything?
"Decree N 160-A of the RA Minister of Education and Science dated 6 April 2012 in accordance with Article 62 (1) (b) of the RA law "On the Basics of Administration and Administrative Proceeding" still doesn't mean anything since it was issued by an official that was not competent to do that," as stated in the experts' conclusion.
By that decree, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashtoyan has given Rector of Yerevan State Linguistic University Suren Zolyan a strict warning for not fulfilling his assignment and being out of the country.
Responding to Ashotyan's statement that Rector Suren Zolyan is trying to "conceal the lack of fulfilling the assignment through personal offense" and studying decree N 160-A of the RA Ministry of Education and Science dated 06.04.2012 on the websites of the RA Ministry of Education and Science and Yerevan State Linguistic University, a group of lawyers has expressed the commitment to hold an expert examination of the decree.
The purpose of the expert examination is to clarify to what extent Ashotyan's statement "as an official appointed by the government in the sphere of education, it is my duty to follow the establishment of legitimacy at educational institutions in the Republic of Armenia" corresponds to reality, reports the YSLU press service.
