Call: CDs for the blind
The "Help and Rights" NGO today has made a call on all participating political parties and the candidates running through the majoritarian electoral order in the May 6 parliamentary elections.
In its statement it is said: "As an efficient method, all political parties can provide the CD versions of their political programs to the visually impaired electorate and help raise their awareness and help them exercise their voting rights."
There are 12,537 visually impaired people in Armenia and most of them have the right to vote, but they don't have access to information. That is why most of them don't take part in the elections.
