Ten hurt in sudden halt of escalator at Moscow metro
At least ten people were injured on Sunday when an escalator at the Komsomolskaya Circular Station of the Moscow metro suddenly came to a halt.
They were rushed to hospital shortly afterwards. Eight of the injured were discharged a few hours later, while the other two are in a serious condition, Ria Novosti reports.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the malfunction.
