Opened road after governor arrived
Residents of Teghut village had been keeping the road leading to the copper mine closed for nearly 4-5 hours as a sign of protest since this morning until Governor of Lori province Artur Nalbandyan and head of the Lori province's department Anubakh Hambaryan visited the village.
After that, Ruben Papoyan, who is Deputy Director General of the Teghut Closed Joint Stock Company owning the copper mine, dismissed the mine's security service chief and the latter's deputy chief.
The residents of Teghut had closed the road as a sign of protest against the security officials' beating against fellow villagers yesterday.
