Citizens of Etchmiadzin participate in march
Events dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide were also held in Etchmiadzin.
Early this morning, all citizens of Etchmiadzin gathered in front of the Etchmiadzin Municipality and marched toward the statue of Komitas where they laid flowers and wreaths. Then, they moved toward the cross-stone placed in the yard of the Mother See to participate in the pan-national march to Tsitsernakaberd.
On the evening of April 23, the student council adjunct to the Mayor of Etchmiadzin held a march with torches and a candle-lighting ceremony. The student council includes students of Etchmiadzin studying at the "Grigor Lusavorich" University of Etchmiadzin and universities in Yerevan.
