Health Minister visits hospitals
Seventy-eight of the 154 people hospitalized from Yerevan's Republic Square late on Friday remained in hospitals as of 2:00 May 6. Seventeen of them are still in reanimation wards.
During today's consultation convened by the Minister of Health Harutyun Kushkyan, heads of ministry departments reported that the patients' health condition is stabalising, with many of them being discharged from hospitals.
According to a ministry statement, Harutyun Kushkyan today visited the medical centers to see the patients.
Some 154 people were rushed to the capital's medical centers on Friday after an explosion of gas balloons during a concert organized by the ruling Republican party of Armenia (HHK). Ninety-eight people were hospitalized. A ministry statement said 28 of them were in intensive care.
