RA Police instigates case
On May 6, journalist for Radio Liberty Elina Chilingaryan submitted a report to the RA Police Erebuni division, stating that on the same day at around 11:00, someone by the name of Vardan had interrupted her from doing her job at polling station 12/32 stationed in school N 178 located at Khaghagh Doni 25 Street in Yerevan. Vardan approached the journalist and hit her left hand, causing the journalist to drop her FLIP camera.
The person by the name of Vardan has been identified through operative and investigative measures.
The amount of damage is being cleared up.
The RA Police Erebuni investigative department has instigated a criminal case under Article 164 (1) of the RA Criminal Code.
The preliminary investigation continues.
