Statement of Chairman of the board of the Union of Volunteer Land Defenders, lieutenant-general Manvel Grigoryan
"Dear graduates,
On behalf of the board of the Union of Volunteer Land Defenders, all land defending freedom fighters of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I congratulate you on graduating from secondary school and wish you success in the new stage of your life. I congratulate your parents, teachers and all those who take pride in you.
I also congratulate the graduates in Artsakh and their parents.
I especially congratulate and incline in front of the teachers of Artsakh that during the years of the war in Artsakh and today educate a generation that appreciates the blood that was shed. I am certain that they will defend the independence that the heroic men fought for.
Dear graduates, the Land Defenders and the Armenian Army, your fathers and grandfathers did everything possible and will continue to do everything possible to make sure our country is always in peace and doesn't face any risks.
Believe in your future, just like you believe in your mothers and teachers. The future is yours. You have been lucky to graduate on the very significant days for the two Armenian republics that are entering the third decade of independence, that is, the celebrations in May. May your life always be festive.
May new horizons open for you and may you always be the citizens and owners of the free and independent Armenia.
I wish you success and peace to our country."
