Ararat Cement stops activities
Ararat Cement CJSC, a leading factory in Armenia owned by Gagik Tsarukyan's Multi Group Concern, has stopped its work, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty's Armenian Service, Radio Azatutyun, reports.
Iveta Tonoyan, a spokesperson for Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Leader Gagik Tsarukyan, neither denied nor confirmed the information. She only said that the factory continues to work, and none of the workers will stay unemployed.
"You need not seek any political context," added Tonoyan.
Founded in 1927, Ararat Cement employs more than 1000 workers.
