Inspections at Civilitas Foundation prolonged
The State Revenue Committee of Armenia has extended inspections at the Civilitas Foundation for another ten working days, Civilitas reports.
The inspections at the Foundation started on June 28, 2012 and were to last till July 18. By law, the Committee has the right to extend the inspection period for another 10 days.
The National Security Service demanded that Vartan Oskanian, founder of the Civilitas Foundation, submit additional documents related to the criminal case. At the same time, the NSS rejected Oskanian's application on publishing documents concerning the case. The NSS said that ‘they could consider the application in case Oskanian gave detailed testimony on the case.'
The Service summoned Karine Harutyunyan, a member of the Foundation Board, for interrogation on Tuesday.
