Ombudsman won't respond to childish pricks
The "conflict" between the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ombudsman's Office continues. A while ago, the RA Ombudsman's Office issued a press release stating the following:
"Continuing with the groundless offenses, the Prosecutor General's Office still hasn't been able to deny two important facts:
1. A criminal case had to be instigated in the presence of contradicting explanations throughout the investigation of the case, but it hasn't been done.
2. The ten-day time limit established by the law hasn't been maintained for the discussion on communiqués related to the crimes.
The Prosecutor General's Office is making an attempt to circumvent these violations by referring to the past.
Unfortunately, the childish pricks and the irony don't change anything in the life of the woman that committed suicide or in the unjust cases of other people.
After all this, we believe public discourse on this violation is over. We will continue our difficult, contradicting, often underestimated and unfairly criticized efforts to reveal and eliminate the violations of human rights that have been revealed in the activities of the Prosecutor General's Office and other state bodies," as stated in the press release issued by the RA Ombudsman's administration.
