SDHK to help Syrian-Armenians
The Social-Democratic (Hnchakyan) Party's Armenia Chapter is following up on the tragic events taking place in Syria. This is what is stated in the party's declaration.
"Thousands of our compatriots living in big cities of Syria wake up to the sounds of bombs and shootings and risk their lives every day. Despite that, the Social-Democratic (Hnchakyan) Party (SDHK) receives complaints that the Armenian Armavia Airlines has doubled airfare and that the latter is part of the so-called "black market". This means that some individual entrepreneurs have decided to take advantage of the difficult situation of their compatriots and fill their pockets that are already stuffed. The SDHK is determined to complain about the situation that has been created and calls on the corresponding bodies to quickly solve this issue, which has already managed to cause a wave of uproar not only among Syrian-Armenians, but all Armenians around the world.
Realizing that it is impossible to solve the whole issue at the state level at this moment, the SDHK declares that it is ready to put in its efforts to solve the problems with stay and working conditions for the Syrian-Armenians coming to the homeland. The SDHK Central Office has created a rapid reaction group, which is ready to support our compatriots coming from Syria as much as possible. What's more, we are willing to work with the corresponding bodies to help our compatriots.
