"The best way to overcome a post-vacation stress is shopping", psychologist Ruben Poghosyan said at a meeting with reporters today. ‘When you rest, you are left to your own devices, and there is a "buffer period" following a rest when you should be ready for your work," Mr. Poghosyan said.

In his opinion all people are predisposed to stress, but those doing creative work are even more predisposed to it. Another way to overcome stress is to be with colleagues, but not at the workplace.

"Stiff competition conditions can also cause stress, which a factor coming from the Soviet times. When competition becomes an end in itself, it can be dangerous," Mr. Poghosyan concluded.

According to him, children are also subjected to stress when they go to school after the summer holidays. For that reason teachers should do serious psychological work with both children and their parents.
