90,799 people did not return to Armenia
According to the RA National Statistical Service, in January-August 2012 the number of people who arrived in and left Armenia was 1,386,447 and 1,477,286, respectively. There was a negative balance of 90,799 people.
By data of the State Migration Service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration, the difference in the number of those who left and arrived by air, rail and motor transport grew by 15.5 thousand or 20.7%, as compared with the same period of last year. The number of air passengers made up 41.8% of the total number of passengers who crossed Armenia's borders.
The total number of passengers in the first eight months of 2012 grew by 287.7 thousand or 11.2% on the same period of last year and made 2 million 863.7 thousand.
