Ashotyan gives instructions
Today Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan signed a decree, instructing the headmasters of comprehensive schools under the jurisdiction of RA Ministry of Education and Science to ban the sale of exercise books, diaries, and similar items in their educational institutions.
At the same time the minister sent respective letters to the Yerevan mayor and the regional governors to give such instructions to the headmasters of educational institutions under their jurisdiction, the press service of the Ministry reported.
It is noteworthy that only 132 out of the 1,396 schools in Armenia are under the jurisdiction of the RA Ministry of Education and Science.
