Niarit plant employees to become millionaires?
Employees of Nairit chemical plant have gathered outside the president's residence to demand their salary of the last 11 months. The protesters were received by a representative the Department of Letters who promised that the plant employees would be paid the salary of two months. However, the angered workers are demanding a full refund.
The protesters say half jokingly that they will become millionaires as their salary of the last eleven months exceeds one million. Some of the protesters have been called in, while the others are waiting for their co-workers outside the presidential residence.
In the morning, Chairman of the Nairit labor union Hrachya Tadevosyan received Minister of Energy Armen Movsisyan to discuss the problem of the chemical plant. During the conversation Tadevosyan assured the minister that the plant's fate would be decided before December.
