Will Ruben Hayrapetyan tender resignation?
Armenia's victory in yesterday's match was not unexpected. The boys did what they were suppposed to, Ruben Hayrapetyan, President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), said in conversation with RFE/RL's Armenian service (Azatutyun.am).
When asked about his possible resignation, the FFA president said 'I want to resign office as people seek my resignation."
Armenia scored four goals in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Denmark in Copenhagen on Tuesday night. This is the second victory gained by Armenia in the current qualifying campaign, which allowed the team to catch up with the Danes in the fourth place in Group B.
