The referendum cannot be held during the state of emergency - Nikol Pashinyan (video)

During the Parlament session MP Arusyak Julhakyan from “My Step” fraction asked about the upcoming constitutional referendum. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that according to Armenia’s legislation, the referendum can’t be held during the state of emergency and will take place no sooner than 50 and no later than 60 days after the state of emergency. He added that the process would start from the point where it ended.

As for the MP's question about inflation, the Prime Minister said that the SCPEC was fighting the phenomenon, but consumers could fight it most effectively by not making too much purchases as a result of panic. He also mentioned that there were no problems with food supplies in Armenia and added that there would not be any empty shelves in Armenia’s stores.
