Freedom fighters concerned about investigation into Hrach Muradyan's murder case
A group of freedom fighters have issued a statement expressing their resentment over the investigation into the case of Hrach Muradyan, mayor of Proshyan Village who was found dead in April 2013, with a gunshot to his head. “A year has passed since the murder of our comrade-in-arms Hrach Muradyan but the criminals are still at large. No one has been made accountable for Hrach’s murder. In such cases, the authorities in Armenia appear, as a rule, in a hopeless situation and in inactivity. Unfortunately, they proved once again that they are serving neither people nor justice. Sooner or later, this crime will be revealed and all criminals and perpetrators as well as those who skillfully conceal the crime will be punished,” reads the statement.
