Pregnant women urged the Government
Today after the Government session, in the conversation with journalists Republican party head Vahram Baghdasaryan informed that the controversial issue on motherhood benefits or temporary disability benefits was discussed. The Government presented new proposal of change in the law, according to which the benefit for working women remained the same- 100 percent. Unemployed pregnant women will get benefit equal to 75 percent of minimum salary. Mothers, whose salaries are less than 1 million AMD, will get benefits for 100 percent, and for women getting more than 1 million AMD, different approach is intended, the issue is still under discussion, a part of the benefit is indented to be paid by the employer.
