Nairit employees to join activists fighting against electricity price increase
Currently “Nairit” plant former employees are in front of the presidential residence in order to demand repayment of their salaries. With the calls “Repayment”, “Meeting” “Nairit” employees demand from the authorities to implement their demands and pay their salaries. Former employee of the plant Anush Harutyunyan noted in the interview with “A1+” that nobody approached them from the presidential residence, “Tomorrow we are planning to hold an action with our T-shirts, where our demands will be printed. Starting from 18:00 we will march from Government building to Freedom Square, where we will join the activists fighting against electricity price increase.” To note, about 2200 employees of “Nairit” plant were dismissed from their jobs without getting their 18-24 months salaries. The debt is about 15 million dollars.
