Members of “Children’s Protection Network” present the works of the children in the yard of the YSU. Knarik Arakelyan, Chairman of “Family and Community” NGO, says that in this way they raise their voice against the child abuse and say ‘yes’ to the welfare of children. She thinks that it is important how to prevent, how to find it out early, how to carry out rehabilitation activities with a child who was subjected to abuse: “As it is a social problem, social workers must deal with all these. We need social workers, specialists and services, who will support families in communities. There are NGOs, which provide services to families, there are centers for day care of children, children receive social-psychological assistance.” “But there are few such centers, as we have 915 communities, and there aren’t such services in every community,” says Chairman of “Family and Community” NGO and adds that the state must deal with this problem.
