Books of Armenian surgeon taken to Vatican by the Pop’s secretary (video)
78-year-old Manuk Manukyan has dedicated 50 years of his life to the medicine. Currently the experienced surgeon teaches the professional secrets to young doctors. At present he works at No 4 hospital. “The life of a surgeon is a purposeful and endless struggle,” Mr. Manukyan told “A1+”. Besides the medicine, he is an author of two books. One of the books is autobiographical: entitled “My life”. The creation of the second book was the call of the soul: in the book entitled “God’s commandments and secrets of nature” the doctor rebels against the current reality. “The idea of writing this book rose under the influence of an amazing dream. I was standing before the altar of Holy Etchmiadzin, I was praying. Suddenly the wall of the altar disappeared and dissolved. Jesus Christ appeared before me, raised his right hand and said, “May you be blessed”. After short period under the influence of this dream I wrote down my thoughts and reflections,” he tells. In his book the doctor highlights the idea that a man doesn’t have any right to interfere the nature. “At present some men marry men and some women marry women. They oppose the nature. God created our planet with all its attributes including a man, created all the conditions for living and reproducing and gave two main spheres of pleasure: for eating- stomach, and for reproducing- sexual life, which are done by the people with pleasure and willingly. A man has no penny in his creation, even his intellect, hence a man has no moral right to oppose his creator and his commandments,” he says. By the way, the book was translated into 7 languages and the copies of the book in all those languages were taken to Vatican by the Pope’s secretary. Mr. Manukyan professionally plays the harmonica.
