Cosmetics of Armenian production at EXPO Beauty 2015
Syrian Armenian Shant Khayalyan have been engaged in the production of natural cosmetics in Armenia for 2 years.
“We make oils in one and a half months, we get oils through steam distillation. We use the same oils in soaps without adding any other ingredients, we produce shampoo in the same way. A shampoo includes vinegar, salt, soda and coconut milk,” he told “A1+”.
Shant Khayalyan notes that at first they produced four types but at present they have 12 types of shampoo, 10 types of soap, 12 types of oil.
In the near future they are going to produce shaving creams.
He doesn’t reject that the volumes of sales have decreased due to the social-economic situation.
Shant Khayalyan as well as representatives of 61 other companies are taking part in EXPO Beauty 2015 exhibition.
The main thematic sections of the exhibition are as follows: medicinal and decorative cosmetics, hygiene supplies, golden jewelry, beauty salons, fitness gyms as well as samples of decorative and applied arts.
“Nairian” cosmetics offer the customers natural soaps, creams, moisturizing creams.
“Lemon and basil soap includes essential oils, fights against pimples. Besides the essential oil used in this soap calms cough,” said Ada, an employee of “Nairian” cosmetics.
The exhibition will be open until December 14.
