Colored pencils and Nature: 21 year-old painter impresses everyone with his works

More than 50 000 followers on Instagram… A dozen of articles posted on websites… Numerous stylish illustrations that have attracted many people…. Edgar, a citizen of Yerevan, has become an Internet star thanks to his creative works. Paper, colored pencils and Nature... These are the essential tools of the 21 year-old painter. Talking to A1+, Edgar, who is a self-taught artist, said he does not yet want to appear on TV. "I started to paint since childhood. When I grew up I took a great interest in fashion and dreamed of showing my own collection one day," the young man says. Every new item and objects creates a new image in his mind. I am inspired almost by everything.  When I look at something, I immediately imagine what clothes I can make of it," he says. Edgar has a lot of dreams but he does not want yo speak about the future, because he lives in the present. Edgar Artis is the pseudonym that Edgar has chosen for himself.

Edgar says he was once inspired by the works of Shamekh Bluwi, an architect and fashion illustrator based in Amman, Jordan.
