Transportation of batteries in baggage banned
International Civil Aviation Organization has banned the transportation of ionic batteries in baggage, informs Reuters. The reason for such a decision is that the batteries of smartphones, cameras, notebooks are flammable. The decision will come into force starting from April 1, 2016 and will operate until safe conditions are ensured for those devices on board. The ban relates to 191 member states of the organization including Russia.
