Two court hearings in activist Vadges Gaspari's case
On February 26, two sessions will be held in the case of jailed civil activist Vardges Gaspari who is charged with insulting police officers in a court hearing. One will take place at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan’s Shengavit district at 4:30 pm, the other at the Criminal Court of Appeal at 5:30 pm. Gaspari is charged with insulting Judge Ruzamna Hakobyan, and police officers Diana Vardanyan and Sona Melikyan. On February 19, 2016, Gaspari was taken into custody without prior notice.
