Armenians in Lebanon to be introduced to Armenian culture
Armenians in Lebanon are given a unique opportunity these days to know the culture and history of their Homeland more closely.
Ani Margaryan, Manager at Teryan cultural center, will be delivering lectures on Armenian culture and history of its modernization in the cities of Beirut and Anjar. Talking to A1+, Ani said she was invited by the Armenian community in Lebanon to deliver a series of lectures until March 16.
“I shall deliver four lectures on Armenian miniature and traditional costumes (Taraz). I am also taking with me photographs of the 19th and 20th centuries depicting our historical homeland and the history of our ancestors,” she said.
Ani says she will try to involve [in her lectures] everyone, even people who have no notion of the sphere and ‘are far from art.’
