Has Azerbaijan decided to end hostilities?
Azerbaijan has reportedly decided to end hostilities in Karabakh; in reply to this information DM spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan notes, “Azerbaijan’s statement is an informational trap, it doesn’t mean one-sided cease-fire. NKR DA will release a statement.” According to the analyses, Azerbaijan wants to declare cease-fire in order to keep its positions and declare victory in its inner market. And as they have sustained significant losses while keeping those positions, they want to end the situation. The Armenian side still hasn’t made a final decision.
