Safaryan case: Court sitting interrupted because of incident
Hardly had the trial of civil activist Gevorg Safaryan begun at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan’s Kentron and Nork Administrative Districts than it was interrupted by an incident. Eduard Gyozalyan, one of the participants of today’s sitting, did not stand up when Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan entered the courtroom. The judge gave him a warning and said he would be removed from the courtroom the next time. Eduard Gyozalyan announced that Mnatsakan Martirosyan was ‘the fairest judge’ in the world. The judge interrupted the sitting and asked to take Gyozalyan out of the courtroom.
