Wounded soldier to be transferred to Germany in four days
Ruben Arakelyan, who received serious injuries during April war, will be transferred to Germany on June 13. Ruben’s relative Narine Tumanyan has informed “A1+” about it. “The inviting side is Global Med organization. At their initiative and support it became possible to organize Ruben’s transfer. Soldier’s mother, Anahit, will also leave together with her son. There weren’t any problems connected with visa, too,” she noted. Ruben’s treatment will be carried out in the Neurosurgery clinic adjacent to the University of Bonn. “They guarantee the effectiveness of the treatment. If there wasn’t any hope, Ruben wouldn’t be transferred. We are sure that there will be progress in his health condition.” To note, 19-year-old serviceman was wounded in Talish; he has spinal cord and throat injuries. In about two months €90.000 needed for Ruben’s treatment in Germany was transferred to the bank account of Ruben’s mother Anahit Mkrtchyan. “That sum has already been transferred to the account of the clinic in Germany. Besides our compatriots, our citizens, AMD 11 million was transferred by Prime Minister, and several days ago €43 000 was transferred by Defense Minister. Money was transferred also by Minister of Health,” Ruben’s relative added. Compared to last month there has been progress in the health condition of the serviceman, “Starting from yesterday he has started to move his one leg,” noted Narine. Besides, earlier Ruben started moving his left hand.
